North Coventry Police Department's SOS 5K
On October 22, 2022, the North Coventry Township Police Department hosted its 2nd annual SOS 5K. The event was held to bring mental health awareness and to help in the prevention of suicide. Law enforcement officers are at risk of suicide twice then that of other members of our community, and every day we lose 22 veterans to suicide. We were excited and privileged to be included in this great event
We would like to give a special thank you to Officer Vic Machese who's amazing work in mental health crisis prevention and his dedication to ending the stigma of suicide is unmatched.
Motley's Mission was the recipient of the SOS 5K proceeds, totaling $5,000. Thank you to Police Chief Matthew Deichert & Officer Vic Machese for their support of our mission.
